I read on a forum here that (Australian) that someone asked Electroboard in Perth if they purchased an X1 form the US would the warranty still be honered. Electroboard told them yes, but they would only get std warrenty service and "premium" if the unit was purchased locally from them.

X1 International Warranty ?
I am in New Zealand and want to import an InFocus X1 from ths US. I have been told by the seller that a 2yr International Warranty is included but I would like this confirmed. Has anybody from NZ, or any other country imported the X1 from the US ? Did it include this warranty ? I'm also interested in anybodys import experience.

I checked out the InFocus site but no New Zealand service centre is listed. Strange, as somebody must be servicing them. They are readibly available here just not as attractive as the US prices. I am still awaiting a reply from InFocus Asia/Pacific.
