Hello: I have the infocus X1 And the infocus lp530 for a 14 day trial and was wondering if anyone knew which movies and scenes would display rainbows {if i were acceptable}. I hve to display them on a yellow wall as i do not have a screen yet. Also which mode should i use on the X1 {native/16:9 or 4:3?} what exactly is native? Any help would be apreciated.

Yellow wall ?

Eeeek ! At least hang a white bedsheet up -or -better yet. Go to a fabric

store and buy some vinyl-like "blackout cloth" and put it on your wall.

It'll be worth the $15 in cloth to actually be able to properly evaluate the

projectors.

native is native - it displays what is put into it. ie DVDs show at 640x480

pixels.

4:3 mode stretches the input to 800x600 pixels for display

16:9 stretches the input to -I believe- 800x450 pixels for display

Try them all and see what you like best.

I understand there is an ultimate rainbow thread, i haven't looked at it (afraid I will start looking for them).

I stumbled across a scene in Men in Black II where Will Smith is in the restaurant (where the key is hidden). Black suit with white shirt. I couldn't even look at the screen the rainbows were so bad. Look at his shirt collar while sitting at a slight angle to the screen.

Main reason I returned the X1 and am waiting on 4805.
