Also I have external amps.Hi all,
Newbie here asking for some advice.
Since my 3700 has bluetooth and streaming apps can I use my 3700 as a streamer into an Oppo 205 that I want to use for a preamp to take advantage of the dacs and avoid buying a Appletv or Bluesound right now.
If so how would I do this?
Thank you in advance for any and all help
No problem. How do I move it?Discussion regarding Denon AVR models is best placed in their dedicated Owner's thread so other owners can respond to your issue.

Sounds unnecessarily complicated and limiting.
The DAC on the 3700 is already one of the best on the market.

Denon AVR-X3700H AVR Review
This is a review and detailed measurements of Denon AVR-X3700H 9.2 channel 8K Home Theater AV Receiver (AVR). It is kindly loaned to me by a local member and costs US $1,199. Visually, if you have seen one AVR, you have seen the look of the AVR-X3700H: The input selector is plastic and...www.audiosciencereview.com

Thanks. Wasn't aware of this. So for all intent and purpose a pioneer lx500 would be just as good since it is a universal player and a lot less money if I'm going to use the AVR?
If you are using bitstream from the oppo or from the pioneer it won’t matter anyway. The disk player is sending an undecoded 1:1 copy of the digital stream recorded on the disk, or downloaded from its internal streaming application to the AVR, and the AVR does the decoding and all audio processing. So you could have a $50 walmart disk player and it would sound the same on a bluray rom or streaming because the player isn’t deciding anything. It’s just passing on the digital “zip file”, if you will, for the AVR to unpackage. If you have more than 7 speakers you’d want bitstream anyway to take advantage of Dolby Atmos or DTS-X, and their respective upmixers. Do you even have analog sources? If not, then I think you are worried over nothing as it relates to sound quality.
you can always google it for more info ,for more clarity on this visit thisHi all,

Even though it uses the same chip AKM as the RME ADI-2, i have found the 3700H very thin and lack of intimate. I wonder what your setting is? I don't listen music in surround mode.Sounds unnecessarily complicated and limiting.
The DAC on the 3700 is already one of the best on the market, and it’s shortcoming compared to the Oppo on the benchtests are very likely completely beyond the threshold of human hearing in every possible way. You’d lose all the extras features the x3700h brings to the table.
I’m quite convinced that competent AVRs and or amplifiers sound the same in a level matched, no EQ, no DSPs playback within the capability of the amplifier and when proper impedance loads are matched to the amp’s design.Even though it uses the same chip AKM as the RME ADI-2, i have found the 3700H very thin and lack of intimate.
