X700 Pro or 6600GT? Which one?
I am in the process of finishing my HTPC and just need a video card and tuner card to complete it.
Spec of the HTPC is A64 3000 939 with DFI motherboard, 512 MB ram, etc. Initially I want to go with 6600GT and MYHD 130 but there's a lot of people on this forum seems to have problem with 6600GT. Also since I am not a hardcore gamer, will X700 pro be more stable.
I am also mainly using the HTPC for dvd and HDTV recording and since MYHD probably cannot record any cable HD channels that's not OTA. ATI HDTV wonder seems to be easier to install and cheaper.
Last question, should I use microsoft media center? Thanks in advance.

You'll probably get lots of contradictory advice, so here's the first salvo.
The 6600s are indeed experiencing their share of driver grief at the moment, so if you want short term stability, the ATI card may be a better choice. According to most who have compared to the two, the 6600 has incrementally better video quality than the ATI, but both will give very good picture quality.
Unless you want the integration of MCE, XP is just as good but offers more flexibility.
