What did HP do to make the TI DLP have such an immense contrast ratio? I can never find my way to the tech paper. Does anyone have a "executive summary" for the rest of us? For me???

The xb31 uses a DMD panel with mirrors that rotate 12 degrees, 2 degrees further than the previous DMD. This allows for a blacker-black. This new panel will also be used in more HT-oriented projectors to be announced June 8 at infocomm.

n we get this projector yet? I need to buy one for my church ASAP and was wondering if tey were available.

The specs say keystone is fixed. Does this mean you cannot compensate for a projector that sits high or low with respect to the screen?

Yes, there are also optical improvements. The member "XB31" stated specifically so in the earlier thread about this projector.
