Xbox 360 to Monitor (1024x768)

Please tell me if you agree or disagree with this statement.. (Trying to win an arguement :) , this is not my statement)

If it is a computer monitor. Thru VGA. No this statment is wrong.


720P will not upconvert to 768P, The Xbox 360 might, but not the display.


Also yes, you can consider 1024X768 to be Higher definition. But not a standard.

To meet the standards for HD displays a progressive scan device needs at least 720 horizonal lines of resolution at 16:9. A 1024x768 4:3 display running 16:9 content has an effective resolution of 1024x576; so no, that is not HD.
