Hi there.
Got an Xbox One and AV Receiver question.
When I use my Xbox for gaming or Bluray, I would like it to output to Dolby or 5.1 surround sound - which it does when I turn on the receiver AND the Xbox sound setting are configured for Dolby (via bitstream out) or 5.1 uncompressed. Fine.
However when the AV Receiver isn't switched on and I am playing via the TV (as I don't always want to use surround sound), I only hear certain parts of the audio. The only way I can hear everything is by setting the Xbox to 'Stereo uncompressed'. If I then switch on the receiver it obviously only outputs 2.0 PCM to the 5.1.
Is there any way to get it to do both??
Hope I've explained it well enough!?
Cheers
