hey guys, i got a xbox one yesterday and i am having problems with black crush and dont know how to get rid of it. the problem is happening on everything from games to netflix.

i tried the same show on netflix with my roku, ps3, ps4, xbox one, and wii u. they all are hooked up to my receiver. they all looked the same except the xbox one was way darker.

in my xbox one display settings i have 720p selected. 24 bit color, and rgb limited. i have tried the xbox one calibration and to get the images to appear right i had to set my brightness up to 89, which looked good on black and white images but washed out the picture on games and tv and still had crush.

any advice is appreciated. i still have 13 days to fix the issue or return. thanks

why are you running it on 720p to start?

And what tv do you have and what picture setting are you using

Why would the 24 bit color be an issue? 8 bit color depth is the norm. Although I have my XBOnes set for 12 bit color depth with 36bit output. But it was also fine when set for 8bit with 24bit output.
