Hello, how are people setting their Xbox Ones audio settings? I have a pioneer 1019 and everything seems to be ok for games/blueray/streaming. I have The Xbox set on hdmi auto detect and DTS surround sound. My receiver is set on automatic. My Verizon dvr doesn't sound that good. Any recommendations? What audio settings should I set within the cable box? Are their different settings within the xbox for tv?

Hope someone has some insight!

Thanks

Make sure you have Surround Sound Beta checked, then you DVR will play surround sound.

Thanks for the help, Im kinda a newbie at these audio settings.  I switched from DTS to 5.1 uncompressed and my receiver now says PCM. It seems louder Im assuming from being uncompressed but doesn't sound like surround sound, it almost sound like stereo. I have my receiver set on auto, should I select a different setting?

Does that receiver have any indication/display/lights showing active channels in the signal?

Maybe try playing some audio-test/cal signal on the XB1.
