to my amaze it does not read my ntfs external hard drive but does see fat32. I thought fat32 were because of apple/sony being arse why the hell microsoft?

weirdly enough, I hear the 360 reads HFS (mac format)!


Why no NTFS? no idea...licensing comes to mind, but its Microsoft.

It probably reads Apple HFS so that it can play music from HFS formatted Ipods.

I think its because MS likes the 4GB file limit that FAT32 has. They don't want you being able to access large files from an external HDD methinks.
