need a quick help here: I'm in the store ready to buy;


Does the Sony 46XB3 accept PAL signals?


I'm moving to Europe and there's no way I will buy a TV of this size there so I'll buy it here and bring it with me.

I also have a PAL DVD, along with my Toshiba HDA1 for Region 1 DVDs.... so does the XBR3 accept PAL signals from other sources such as DVDs and more?

Apparently it doesn't. You might want to consider paying the European price considering you get a far superior multi-system TV.


I kept asking if the US Sony LCDs supported PAL video, but nobody ever gave me a reply. Can't an XBR owner out there who has a Digital Camera with video output facility check this? Almost every digital camera I've seen lets you output either NTSC or PAL video.
