I have Xfinity cable tv and internet. I use a Tivo Bolt, but Comcast sends out all channels at 720p.
They have a beta Roku app that I have tried, and it is not supposed to count against your data cap until it comes out of beta, but it appears it does not have any higher resolution than the Tivo box. I am only using a 1080p Roku (not the 4K version), so not sure if I have something set wrong, or if Xfinity streaming is also at 720p ? Can anyone tell?

I believe yu can get 1080 with the Roku app. I set Roku to 1080 and it looks better than when it was trying to upscale to 4K, I am only using it on a smaller 40" TV in my office but it actually looks quite good.

Thanks. I set the TV to track the incoming resolution instead of locking at 4K and Roku is sending a 1080p signal on the Xfinity app. Thanks.
