xg1352 video input

197 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  Mark_A_W
I'm trying to set up my new to me xg1352 to my htpc. I had an xg75 hooked up but don't remember the input type I used, but I think it was video ntsc4.43.

Should I be using rgb or video. When I try to create a new signal in video it defaults to pal and I can't edit the source from the htpc to ntsc. Rgb does the same. I can't create anything but a rgb signal.

My dvd player in s-video gets ntsc fine. I'm using a video to bnc connector for the htpc to projector.

I would imagine it would be best to start with a clean slate (scratch).
Don't listen to Ferret...he is not in his right mind.

You should be using RGB....for your HTPC.

You should use video for your DVD player.
Susan that's what I thought with the rgb input, but I vaguely remember doing something with my xg75 that had ntsc in the input line so it sort of took me back. It's been a couple years since I've had to start over on a new machine so I does feel like I'm starting all over again.

Thanks
Sorry, I thought he was using the DVD ROM drive in his HTPC.
