He felt that what they did was not wrong, but not bright either. He felt that even though they didn't say it, they should have AT LEAST said, "Hey we don't condone what you are saying" at the least.
Plus he felt this is what the company they signed with, CBS/Clear Channel, do to acts that aren't doing what they feel they should be doing with regards to generating revenue. They look for a CHEAP **** WAY OUT of the current contract, so they don't have to pay them. Go to court, at a huge expense to the artist/artists, and hope they buckle. He, of course, has been through this before with them, and he said he felt that htey may use this opportunity to dump them.
Again, THIS IS ALL CONJECTURE on his part, or anyone else at this point.
I personally think it is BS, and will continue to feel that way.
But I do have one question to anyone who listens to their show:
WHEN did this happen in their radio program? Did it occur in their FREE RADIO hours, or on their exclusive XM radio spot?
If it happened on their exclusive XM radio spot, then I am REALLY PISSED that they got suspended at all. That is what a PAY SERVICE is all about. But that is what happens if you get in bed with CBS/Clear Channel/Infinity these days unfortunately.

This may be the first volley by CBS/Clear Channel/XM to get out of their contract with them because they never generated the revenue they thought they would when they came over to free radio for the first three hours. They realize they are paying too much for their services, and want to get out.
And here is an out. I think it is BS. Contracts in the US anymore I guess don't mean much of anything. Unless of course it is some poor schlub who signs for a mortgage/student loan that they either can;t afford to pay, or will be paying it off forever(especially a student loan). Miss a payment on those types of contracts, and you are screwed.
But I guess big corporations/enteties don't have to honor THEIR CONTRACTS.
Total BS if that is what is in store over the next month.
Stay tuned. The end of this story is FAR from over.
