Ok, I have tried both ports on my graphics card and get the same result. I am trying to put the DVI to HDMI cable from my graphics card to the Xonar. Then I am trying to use the second DVI port on my graphics card to my TV.

The problem is that as soon as my TV is connect it stops sending video to the Xonar or maybe its that the Xonar stops outputting a signal?

I have played with CCC and tried everything I can think. Am I missing something?

GPU to Xonar , Xonar to TV. The Xonar has a HDMI in, and a HDMI out where it adds HD loss less audio to your video stream from your GPU. If you use the second port on your GPU to your TV, it will think you just added a second monitor. Here is a link to Xonar and download the quick start guide.

For a second display, you will go into the CCC under display options, detect and setup displays. You have a couple options, you can duplicate, mirror, or extend. I usually duplicate, then set the monitor to the left of the main so my mouse will slide across the right of my main onto the left of the secondary. There you will have a duplicated desktop so you wont have to go back and forth.
