Xposting: Device to display 4x 1080p sources on one 2160p display at once?

X-posting because, while I believe this probably belongs in the "video processor" forum, I thought it more likely that someone in this forum might have come across a product similar to what I'm seeking:

I don't need it to do any processing... in fact, I just want something that accepts 4 HDMI or DVI 1920x1080x60Hz inputs and passes each of them 1:1/pixel-for-pixel to one quadrant of a UHD/4k display with as little additional latency or processing as possible. Any suggestions?

Have installed a couple of these and they work and look great!

Processing for multi-windowing is built it.

Thanks for the reply, trans_lux. That certainly is an interesting display, but I'm actually looking for something that can handle these inputs and produce one output to feed an existing display (in this case, a Sony VW600ES projector).

Oh got it.

How about this?

Well, that's certainly capable of what I'm looking for, but seems to cost roughly $18k, so that's probably a no-go
What I had in mind wouldn't have any scaling capability - the type of mapping I have in mind could be implemented on a fairly simple bit of hardware with 30ms or lower latency (essentially a static index/map supporting one input resolution only [1080p] and a large enough frame buffer to store two 4k frames), but I don't think anyone is building such a device at the moment.

Regardless - thanks for the links! That has opened up a few new channels for research

Hum I think for 4k they are the only game in town right now that is in the realm of affordability.

You might be able to accomplish something with a home brew PC based solution. Just a thought.
