Morning All,

I built a new PC about a month ago for photo post-processing, but wanted to use it today when visiting someone to demo a 720P digital projector. My problem is that when I choose the 1280x720 resolution in desktop properties I am presented with a horizontally compressed desktop instead of a vertically compressed desktop. System: Abit AA8 motherboard

Intel LGA775 P4 3-GHz

Corsair XMSpro 2x512MB

Albatron PCX5300 (PCI-Express)

1x80GB WDC & 2xMaxtor drives (all 8MB/7200RPM)

Pioneer DVR-107D DVD Writer

Windows XP Professional w/SP2

Anyone know if this to be expected? I just don't want to go messing up something. :)

Okay. So, you are saying this is nVidia. Is this 100% nVidia, 100% this nVidia chipset/card, etc.?

Can this be resolved using Powerstrip? I really do not wish to go and spend $200-600 on a POS ATI card where its driver get in my way.
