I am trying to get 1080i HDTV in Y Pb Pr format from my HDTV cable box into my computer to downconvert to my 1024x768 native DLP projector via Radeon and DVI. Anyone know of such a card? Alternatively, anyone know of anything that might grab the digital stream directly from the cable? Thanks for any pointers.

You need a component to rgb transcoder.


There are a few sources for this: extron, altinex, key digital, and audio authority.

That's what Dan just said- nothing available for home consumers at this time.

You need to get a transcoder AND tell your HD box to output 720p instead of 1080i.
