I have had this unit for about 7 months now and have had no problems with it until now.

When watching DVD-input or PS3 the audio will intermittently cut out for a brief second.

Both sources are using HDMI.

The audio cut out does not start happening until usually about 30 mins after its been turned on. The longer it stays on the more frequently the audio will cut out. The video is fine, just audio.

I have tried changing the HDMI cables and it is still happening.

This does not happen with the AM/FM radio, or other inputs.

Anyone with any suggestions?? Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It is a very annoying problem!

Thanks in advance!

I know you said you changed out the HDMI cables, speedysmurf, but what you are discribing (audio dropouts) is most often, a cable issue, IMO

Is it possible to try HDMI cable from the device to the AVR?

Also, do you have another HDMI input you could try on your AVR?

The DVD and PS3 are currently using HDMI's and both have the audio dropout problems. Only other input is the TV, analog and there is no problems with that.

I have also recently changed the HDMI cable to a high speed Philips cable and still experiencing the same problem.

Any other suggestions?
