Few months ago I got some advice from this forum about my first home theater setup. Everything has been working amazing, but I noticed that for some odd reason my motionflow on my Bravia Z5100 is not working. When I my digital terminal or ps3 directly to my TV, it worked perfectly. I believe also when I hooked up the receiver it worked, but not once I turn on automotion it doesn't speed up the image (which I like only sometimes).


Is there something that is causing it? Or does the receiver not support 120hz/240hz over the HDMI connection? Edit: I have a PS3, turning 24hz on or off doesn't do anything. I also use a Scientific Atlanta HD Terminal over HDMI

The problem is your tv. Post your question in the Sony Z5100 thread in the LCD Flat panel forum. 120/240 Hz has nothing to do with what is being output by the source or passed by the AVR. It is the internal refresh rate of the tv.
