Not to mention the fact that this unit seems to shut down a few times on its own(something which I am now reading about from other people).

I can't get my front left and right speakers to register as conected. I ran the auto EQ when I first go it and they were registering fine, but I changed sub and when I went redo the EQ the fronts won't register. I have changed nothing other than the sub. I reconected the speakers just in case there was a wiring problem but that is not doing anything.

Is there a setting somewhere that turns the L & R speakers off?

I am at a total loss.

Not sure what you mean by register, but there is a switch behind the panel that turns the main L/R speakers on and off ( Speakers A - B).

Sorry , I didn't know how else to explain. There is an error that is showing up as not conected when I run auto EQ.

But now that you mention it, I think that the Speakers A - B switch is turned off, I will give it a try when I get home.

Cheers.
