Yamaha HTR-6290 HDMI Question
I have a Yamaha HTR-6290 receiver which I like very much. The hdmi imput for the Blu-ray is very sensitive. It works, but if anything touches it quits working and sometimes does not come back on unless I move the connection around. My receiver is in a tight spot so it is virtually impossible to get it into place without compromising the connection.
My question is, can I use one of the other HDMI inputs? such as the DVD. It is not designated for HD or Blu-ray. I am not sure if these are just labeled for convenience or will the output not be as good on the DVD setting compared to the HE/Blu-ray setting. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
