Yamaha reciever question

I'm getting a new receiver for Christmas and need help deciding on which one to get...wlooking to spend less than 200 bucks if I find a sweet deal on Ebay. Was looking at an auction that ended earlier, but went over 200 with shipping included..that one was for the htr 5740...I am looking at the htr series and would like to know what people like the best for a budget...I have S-video on my tv hooked to the digital cable box, so if the reciever doesn't have s-video it's no biggie...need some suggestions...
