Hi there everyone. New here, hope this is in the right section. Planning to purchase a rx-a740, currently have a Samsung da-e751 all in one, the only input on the Samsung is an aux in. I would like to use this as a center channel from the yamaha receiver since I'm a fan of how the da-e751 sounds. my question is if I split a 3.5mm jack and run the wires to my center channel - and + would it actually drive the da-e751 in the fashion I am hoping? Any input would be appreciated.

Splitting the wires of the 3.5 mm is at line level. The Center out of the receiver is speaker level (amplified).

The receiver you've mention does not have line level outs. If you insisted on using the setup you desire, you will need a speaker level to line level converter. Use your favorite search engine or talk to a local dealer to obtain one.
