I have the RX-V1 and it passes 1080i withno problem whatsoever. This is an outstanding unit!!

Yamaha RX-V1 or DSP-AX1 Component Video Connections
Does anyone know the Yamaha RX-V1 or DSP-AX1 Component Video Connection bandwidth & suitability for 1080i or 720p video sources?

When I switch between standard NTSC, Progressive DVD out and a 1080i signal there is about a 1 second sync up period but that is not because of the RX-V1 but the TV itself. This unit is marvelous in every respect!!
