Yamaha RX-V2500 And Axiom (No Way to test hear, Good pairing?)

306 Views 3 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  gergg
SO i narrowed it down my Audio components to the Yamaha RX-V2500 Home Theater Receiver and the Axiom Audio Package Epic Midi - 125. THe components of the Package include:

Bookshelf Speakers M2

Surrounds QS4

Center VP100

Subwoofer EP125

5.1 surround sound

My questions is does anyone have either the reciever or the speakers and recommend maybe an upgrade on the speakers wheather it be for full front speakers or different backs?

thanks in advance

My friend/neighbor has the rxv2500 paired with the Axiom 60's and 150. It sounds good even though I am not the biggest fan of the Axiom sound.
I would definately upgrade to M3's. For the price, you will get a huge improvement in sound.
The Rx-2500 is old. The RX-V2600 is the newer unit. Plus the RX-V1600 is almost the same without the upscaling and better OSD.
