Folks,
I am trying to set-up a inexpensive home theater before I build some built-ins and actually commit to more longer term equipment. I purchased a Yamaha RX-V365 for $199 at Best Buy and have it hooked up to a Toshiba DVD via HDMI and R & L audio cables, I have my Comcast Scientific Atlanta hooked to it via DVI-HDMI with R & L audio cables. I have my Toshiba 55" LED/LCD hooked up to the Yamaha via HDMI. I have Boston HS40 R and L, Boston HPS-10SE, and CS225 center channel. I go through the Yamaha set-up and set it up for 3.1 operation. All of the speakers produce their test tone. I save it, then go watch TV or DVD and only get the R and L speakers, not center or subwoofer? It has been 20 years since I was "into" audio (prior to video being big) and it has changed dramatically since then
I have looked at the manual and on-line and don't have a lot of solid leads on where to go. Your help would be greatly appreciated.
