I just got a Yamaha S2300 and I like it a lot so far.
One issue and it's more annoying than a real problem.
The player is in DVD/CD mode. I put in a hybrid SACD. The player sees the CD layer. I press the DVD/SACD button. The player says "READ..." and then says "NO PLAY" and switches back to DVD mode. If I then press the button again it works correctly (SACD layer recognized) and I think it works if the player is in SACD mode before I put the disc in, though I'm not sure.
I've noticed this with the "Dark Side of the Moon" SACD and McCoy Tyner's "New York Reunion." Those are the only hybrid SACDs I have so far.
Anyone else notice this?
