Yamaha YSP-2500

The Yamaha YSP-2500 of mine counts down the audio to 'mute' and after that it doesn't response to the remote control anymore. Then i turn it off, and after a while it works again, until the next countdown. I've tried HDMI Arc, and optical connections, CEC killer etc. , and did initialize a hundred times but it keeps on doing this. My tv set is a Samsung 2020 Qled . Is this a handshake problem or is it broke? I hate to see it go, but i think i have to buy a new soundbar. Is it a familiar problem?
