Yellow and blue lines on sides of picture

I have a 6 y/o Panasonic 32" and whenever I play a DVD I get a yellow discoloration on the right side of the screen and a blue on the left. If I shut the DVD off it goes away but it always comes back. Of course it is very noticable when those areas of the screen are light. I first noticed it while playing Star Wars: AOTC during the scene when Anakin and Padme are on Tatooine. I do not get this problem during regular SD sat viewing or on any gaming systems. Just during DVD viewing. What could this be caused from???

Need a bit more information:

* How is your DVD player connected to your TV? What cable types/connections?

* Can you try this DVD player on another TV, or connected a different DVD player to this TV to see if it's a DVD player issue?

* What brand/model DVD player do you have?
Sorry for the vague info. DVD is a Panasonic DVD-RA60 connected with composite cable. I previously had a Sony DVP-S500D and didn't have this problem. And this was not immediate with the Panasonic player. I had it hooked up for 6 months before I noticed this. Haven't tried the player on another TV yet. Also have an Infinity center channel but it doesn't site directly on top of the TV and my front l/r are mounted on the wall not even close to the TV. It is probably a little late to try to diagnose this problem because pretty much everything in my HT is getting upgraded. But I would just like to know if the TV or player is going bad
