Yes, another 6412 problem thread: Hard lock on "series priority" change. Anyone else?

well, I apologize in advance for yet another 6412 problem thread. But.... I wondered if anyone else has had this problem. (If you don't, take a second and try this just to check.)


Without fail, my box will completely hard lock any time I click "confirm" after modifying the "series priority" list. This will happen after deleting a series recording or or changing the priority of one show over another.


This is a consistent, and reliably demonstratable problem.


It a complete hard freeze and the only way to get the 6412 fuctioning again is to unplug the box and plug it back in which completely sucks when it takes FOREVER to download the guide again.


Any solutions to this? what can I try to avoid it locking up at this point? Has this been reported elsewhere and I missed it?


Box is fairly well-ventilated, a couple inches all around. checked cable signal strength, its "good" for both tuners. box firmware 9.12, (SW ver: 71.44 -1203 )
