I'm sure I could probably find this in one of the 1000's of posts, but I don't really feel like looking thought them all right now. First of all they have two models, is the more expensive one worth it? (I know that's a rather broad question). Moving on, Are these one specifically made to be bolted to furniture? I thought I remeber one that you just sat the furniture on top of, I imagning things? Lastly I do have an extra receiver around that I can use, but I was wondering if this would work as a workaround...From the LFE out, use a Y adapter, send one to the Sub, and the other to the bass shakers. Since the lower model uses wires instead of an RCA jack, I'll have to find something to make the transformation, I'm sure radioshack has SOMETHING that can do that. Anyways, what I was thinking of is instead of a sepearte receiver just using an in line volume conrtol. There's gotta be something out there, even a dimmer for low voltage wiring would probably work. Does this seem plausable?

Ohhh, it looks like maybe the cheaper ones are for your car. So scratch the part about converting the RCA into two wires. Just take one side of the Y and go right to the shakers with an inline volume control. Would that work?

Okay, let's start over shall we. Here's the new idea Y from LFE out, one to sub, one to amp. From amp to bass shakers. From the quick reading I've done I should hook the two bass shakers up in series, correct? What if I get a third, still in series, or do I do that one in parallel. Oh well, I'll go ahead and order two shakers, and then figure it out from there.

BTW here's the first amp I was looking at http://www.radioshack.com/product.as...%5Fid=31-5000, but I don't think it can handle them. They also have a 40 watt amp, but I'm not sure about it either. I'm just looking for small thing small and inexpensive that I can slide under the couch or on a table. I do have an extra receiver but I don't want that under a couch.

One more thing. Is one Aura Pro enough for a couch. I'm ordering two (one for each couch). If it's not enough I'll go ahead and order three more (one more for each couch and one for a recliner.)

I have an old Sony receiver that I run my bass shakers off of (so old I don't know the numbers). I have two of the cheap ones in each (couch and love seat) and they seem very acceptable. I ran most of my equipment direct to the old amp (with either the second output or a splitter) using Fmods (in line crossovers) to block anything over 50 hertz.

My bass shakers are run in series as instructed in the directions and I'm very happy with it :D
