I have a comcast hd cable box that I am attempting to connect to a dell 2405 and a set of bose comp speakers. Sounds simple doesnt it?

Video is streaming to the display just fine. I didnt even bother using the component connectors and just did a video-out to video-in. Talk about going low tech.

Next, I scoured the back of the cable box to see what connector i could use to connect the comp speakers to. There is left and right audio out, spdif and optical out. my comp speakers only have the one input connector.

How the fark do i connect it up? Am i missing something here? i googled this predicament with no apparent succes, so here i am.

What's that in the sky?!?! Is it a bird!? is it a plane?! No! It's avsforum-man to the rescueeeeeeee!
