Digital cameras are altering the movie industry slowly, but certainly in new directions.
I watched the movie Timecode, which had four simulateous interrelated stories going on, on the same screen, in real-time with digital cameras.
And while it was a bit weak in spots because it was largely improvised, it was also interesting and intimately shot with DV cameras in a way that that traditional film would not have brought out.
