Young Guns is on HBO tomorrow (Friday) night at 8 p.m. eastern. The HBO online schedule lists it as "True HD," but it's not on the HDTV Galaxy schedule. Anyone know what it's going to be, what to expect, in the way of picture and sound?
Although I haven't seen it on HBO before, I expect it to be HDTV since it's listed as such in the A-Z guide (pdf file), and that has always been accurate. Since it's original OAR was 1.85, I expect it to look good on HBO. Don't know what to expect for the sound.
I see so many posts asking about a specific program and I always wonder how it's possible that anyone would know for sure, even if a movie was previously shown in HD. Schedules can be in error. Any schedule. A technical or human glitch sometimes causes a scheduled HD movie to be shown in 4:3.
But I have found a foolproof and absolutely definitive way to determine if a movie I want to see in HD will be in HD. I watch it
