Hi Everyone
First a bit of background. My family and I are moving from England to Colorado very soon. We have purchased an amazing home and are remodelling. Part of the remodel is rearranging the main floor plan, and as such, I have a dedicated theatre space of 17' x 18'6 plus and additional area for a small home office. I have been a member of AV Forums for over 8 years and did a full length build thread for my first cinema room. My involvement was limited and had a builder friend do the construction with me basically pointing what goes where. It turned out pretty well for a small space and have been happy with it up until now.
The new home has reignited my passion to build something bigger and better, but it's time I have more time on my hands to get really involved. I've recently joined AVS and have spent the last two weeks reading the countless amazing builds, ideas and various elements available on here. The knowledge of both AVF and AVS members is invaluable and no doubt I will drive you all mad with endless questions in my new project.....
This is the first cinema that I had built, it's fairly small at 9' x 15'. Equipment was: InFocus IN82, Denon AVR1910, 92" Grandview screen, Sony Blu Ray player, PS3 then PS4 and the Kef 3005SE kit....to be honest, it sounds amazing. But no when I finish the new one, there will hopefully be a noticeable upgrade.
