Hello,

I may have missed something. How can you tell whether you component source signal is 480i, 480P, or something else? Do you use process of elimination, by manually selecting the type and if it doesn't display you know that's wrong?


I know some devices will flash the signal type on the screen, but I have never seen the Z1(1HD actually) do so.

I've found that my Z1 does not auto detect 480i vs 480p. I have to manually switch between the two in the Z1 menu when I go between SD satellite tv and progressive DVD. If I don't, I get a goofed up looking image.
