Zenith HD-520

Is a radio Shack antenna good enough? I will also have a cable run of approx 150 feet. Do I need an amplifier for the antenna??

My wife gave me my Christmas present early - a Zenith 520. I also have a Hitachi like yours, only the 61 inch. You will be amazed at the picture. I also have a R/S antenna (190) that seems to do an OK job. I don't know if a differnt antenna would work better. I am going to go to a mast mount amp (R/S) and see if it gets the job done.


Unfortunatelly, this HD stuff is all trial and error. I am on my 4th amp and my 2nd antenna. This is why we all go to R/S. They take stuff back. Good luck and enjoy your 520!!
