Hello,
I assume that it's possible to improve the picture quality of my Zenith Pro880X with some adjustments in the Service Menu. Unfortunately I don't have a Service Manual. I would be very happy, if you could help me.
1. There is a picture problem, which can be seen on all sources via the S-Video input. It seems that the Y- and C-signals are out of phase.
Q: Is it possible to adjust the chroma delay for the S-Video input?
2. To avoid the chroma delay problem, I've tried to use the RGB-input instead of the S-Video input. Via the RGB-input I can display a picture with 60Hz (NTSC) with quite good results. As an option I would like to use the RGB-input for 50Hz (PAL) sources. But with PAL-DVDs, there is any problem with the synchronization, so that the picture is moving vertically.
Note that I use a sync stripper and feed the RGB-input with the C-sync signal.
Q: Is it possible to adjust the Pro880X, so that it displays 50Hz sources correctly via the RGB-input.
Thank you very much for your assistance in advance.
