I was just browsing around the net and came across two seemingly new sets from Zenith. Both are tabletop LCD Rear Projection sets. Does anyone know if these sets are good or not? They are model numbers D52WLCD and D60WLCD.

They look great except the 200:1 contrast ratio.

Probably very good for business and education, but may not be so for HT?

I went and looked at the new Panasonic 40" LCD RPTV at BB yesterday. It was very sharp and clear. I didn't really give it a proper critical evaluation though.

Ken, please watch the Best Buy demos again. The posterization/banding is enough to rule these out. Period.

Reading the specs at the end of the review, it's just as the salesman at StarPower told me, as I was viewing last year's Zenith 60" LCD next to the GW I and later the GW II -- NO DVI ON THE ZENITH, not last year's model, not this year's model(s). Not even non-HDCP DVI -- none, zip, nada. If, as people say here, a DVI-fed HD signal is the best, you can rule this TV out. Unless, of course, the wideband RGB connection can be retrofitted with DVI-HDCP.
