Is it available to substitute the zoom lense of the 150z, on the 150 as a replacement part, for our existing 150's?

Are the lenses interchangable???

I called NEC . Since the person I talked to (a tech) has never seen a z model, he could not answer. I am sure someone here on the forum has an inside answer.

I wouldn't be surprised if the zoom lens degrades the picture quality a bit - it's hard to make a zoom lens with optics as good as a fixed focal length lens. But it depends on just how good the original lens is in the first place, and how much difference optical quality would have in this application.
