I just picked up the Zoom Q3 HD yesterday,,,,,, for recording bands and concerts this thing is amazing,,, it also works great as just a pocket cam.

I recorded my band last night at a rehearsal and the sound quality was almost studio quality recording.

Anyhow, just thought I would post this incase anyone needs a pocket cam that does exellent audio as well as HD video,,,, here be the link,,,,

VERY cool!

I REALLY wish it had full manual control over the gain though. I use the H4n to record gigs piggybacked on an opteka grip over my 2nd camera and this would be great to get that video too but the only "low" "high" and "auto" options seem they could be limiting.

I havent installed the Zoom's editing software yet but the software has the options to tweek the audio,, so what the camera does not do, perhaps the software might do.

So far I have only used the Zoom just set to "auto" and I have been very happy with the results.
