I'm trying to follow the beginners guide to using zoomplayer and FFDSHOW using the SONIC DVD codec pack and I'm running into some problems. When I try to play a DVD I get this error:

Does anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong? I followed this guide to the T:

FWIW, I should mention that when select "Standard" DVD Playback as opposed to "Customized", it will play the DVD. Also, I noticed that the DVD playback volume is VERY low.

Try Nvidia decoders or Dscaler decoders...

Thanks, I just switched to the Dscaler 5 decoder and it started up fine. My only problem now is that the volume is extremely low. Sound output in other apps is fine but when watching a DVD I can hardly hear it.

Have you tried using AC3 filter for the sound output?
