After many frustrating hours of using ZP, i'm still at a complete loss as to how ZP uses aspect ratios.

I have just done an anamorphic dvd rip using WME9, and cutting out the black bars give me a video resolution of 720x436 (PAL). Effectively then the resolution should come out to something like 1030 x 436 (2.35:1) after horizontall stretching the video.

I just don't know.. or don't understand, or even fail to understand how to make zoomplayer stretch the video to 2.35:1.. whenever I try using 'anamorphic'.. all i get is the video with black bars on the left & right sides and it looks to be stretching the video to a 4:3 size.

When i select custom.. it stetches it back down to 720x304 which gets rid of the anamorphic aspect ratio.

Doh! I figured it out. In the Settings -> interface panel.. I hadn't checked auto-size user interface to maintain video aspect ratio.. and setting window to source video size compensates for aspect ratio..

Enabling these 2 options seems to have fixed it.
