zoomplayer -- can't play wmv

I am having a problem where I can't play a wmv file with zoomplayer. The file loads correctly and the movie playtime shows correctly put the video doesn't advance. If I click on the timeline it will skip forward and show the frame at the time that I clicked on, but pressing play does nothing.


The video plays fine using Windows Media Player


I am using Windows 7 RC 32-bit and Zoom Player 6.0.


The following information is displayed by MedioInfo about the wmv file:

First video stream: 1451Kbps, 544*288 (1.883), at 23.976 fps, WMV2

First audio stream: 96.0 Kbps, 48.0 KHz, 2 channels, WMA2


Smart Play is disabled.

Under Audio & Video Decoders > Windows Media Video > WMVideo Decoder DMO is selected.


I've tried different combinations under Playback > Windows Media, but nothing seems to make a difference.


I tried a program I found on this forum called Toggle_WMV_DXVA.exe, but that didn't seem to do anything either.


Any suggestions?
