I just got a Zune 80. What's the best video conversion software you all use?

Also, has anyone found a good case as well as a car mount?

For DVD's, I use DVD Decrypter to get it to a .VOB file. From there, it's been kind of hit or miss for me. I am 1 for 3 as far as the final product coming out right. Star Wars Ep III was the one that worked right, using Any Video Converter, but I had audio/video sync issues with two other movies.

As far as car mounting, ProClip seems to have a great selection, although I have yet to try any of their products, mainly because of the price..

What do you use to equalize volume on your songs or don't you do that?

I don't do that. I suppose I should, but I really only have a handful of songs that the volume is out of whack.

I just got my wife an 8GB Zune. I have a Zune pass with Zune 80.

1) Does she use my zune account or can she link hers to the zune pass?

2) Can she get all the songs I've already downloaded on another PC?

I have all my MP3's on a networked drive. When I add the Zune software to new PCs and link the networked drive I run into some issues. The main problem I'm having is that it seems all the fixes I made to the ID3 tags on the original files don't get carried over to the new PC. So I have to go back and fix a TON of albums that are labeled wrong or mislabeled. How can I fix/prevent this?

Hmmm..is that to suggest that when you make ID3 changes in the Zune software, that it doesn't change the properties of the actual mp3, but instead just on the file in the Zune software? Bummer if so.

Stryker, what did you find out with this? I'm very curious, as all of the changes I've made to my mp3's in Zune has been on my work laptop. I don't have the software on any other PC, I will load it on my desktop now and see, but what was your outcome? Worst case, could you just copy the Zune program with all of the files and extensions onto a thumb drive, and load that onto your other PC's?
