This movie starred Timothy Hutton and Kelly McGillis. Although it could be considered a very corny love story I enjoyed it back then. It also featured cameo appearances from Tom Petty, Ric Ocasek, Neil Young and Ellen Barkin.
The theme song was "We Never Danced" written by Neil Young but covered by The Motels for the movie. That song is also worked into the plot of the movie as well. Is this movie out on DVD yet?
I did a cover of the theme song based on the original Neil Young version (it's on his 1987 album Life and he reunites with Jack Nitzsche, the guy who helped him produce "Expecting To Fly" back in Buffalo Springfield days)
