I just purchased a Dali epicon vokal center for my main multichannel room. This center is huge and heavy about 45 pounds and Dali lists a stand for this speaker which is actually buy two stands that are made for the epicon 2s..

That is not happening, I would like a stand that is about 18-20 inches tall and is made for a center channel and is very sturdy and besides some sanus offerings I can't find anything that I am happy with.

Any suggestions folks?? Not sure were to turn.

This is the stand for my LSC center channel. The speaker is nearly 4' wide and weighs over 75lbs. The stand is height and angle adjustable. I had it finished to match the LS-9 mains which are Satin Black and wrapped in leather. Those in-wall sub drivers are 18", to give a sense of scale.

I had a similar problem with my 70 pound Paradigm 690 center. I thought of using two 18" Sanus center stands, but it still wouldn't hold the weight. They would probably hold your speaker fine. I ended up making one out of some mdf, three 18" lengths of 4x4 and I wrapped it all in black velvet. I just couldn't find anything else and the Paradigm stand cost $500!

Most of this types of furniture in this format are 21-28" tall. Mine is 26"

You can always put some wedges under the center.

You are right, most stand will need some type of wedge either on a stand below the screen or, a shelf above the screen.
Unless you use something like rms8 on the quote below, height and angle adjustable.

Is this the Center speakers -

http://www.dali-speakers.com/en-US/Loudspeakers-1/EPICON-VOKAL.aspx#.Vjq4hIKVvF8

Dimensions With Base (HxWxD) [mm]: 247 x 816 x 349 (9.73" x 32.125" x 13.5")

I say, at least check into having a stand custom made, perhaps of wood or metal.

Most towns have a carpenter or cabinet maker that would be able to do it.

Most towns have a welding shop.

If you live in a town that has a Technical College, they might have some Students looking for a project to build.

I suspect, you will find that if you can find a true Center Stand, it is not going to be adequate for a speaker 32" wide.

Here are some run of the mill Center Stands, but they are only about 15" wide, so even then you would need two of them.

http://www.parts-express.com/sanus-nfc18c-natural-18-stand-center-channel-cherry-black--240-8828

These are just variation of the same Center stand.

Alternately, you could look at other manufacturers who make large Center Speaker and see if they have large Center Stands - B&W, Monitor Audio, Wharfedale Jade, .... -

But in all honesty, I think the solution is to have some custom designed and built.

Most of the Center Speaker Stands I am finding all appear to be much too small for your needs.

Most of the good stands are custom made. Here are some examples -

If you want a slight angle to the Center, that can be built in to your requirements.

Here are more stands, just to give you concept ideas -

Actually here is one from Paradigm that might work for you -

But it is still two separate columns.

And perhaps this one -

If you don't mind not shopping local, then search Google for Custom Made Speaker Stands and you should come up with some options -

http://www.timbernation.com/speakerstand.cfm

http://www.ebay.com/bhp/wood-speaker-stands

This Ebay list might not have what you need, but they custom build. Just contact them and get an estimate.

Though probably better to find a local Cabinet maker so the two of you can coordinate the design.

Just a thought.

This a lot of good suggestions:)

Not only for the OP, but for myself to remove the wedges.

Since I got the Aperion Verus Grand Center, it might be a little more of a challenge for me, due to the curve and not strait.

I don't know how you can find so many links all the times.
But I am sure it is appreciated from all new member and lots of old ones.
