PC Gaming on a Projector with Scope Screen

I recenly repurposed a PC to become a gaming PC and hooked it up to my home theater system. My HDMI chain is as follows:

PC > Emotiva XMC-2 Processor > Lumagen RP Video Processor > JVC Projector

I'm using an Nvidia RTX 4060 TI card in the PC. I've been playing around with Nvidia's Control Panel to force the PC to output the image in scope aspect ratio approximately 2:35:1.

The PC isn't on right now and I'm away from home I've run into a few quirks/issues.

1. My projector supports 4K at 60 Hz. The highest I've been able to get it stable at with this setup is 30 Hz. This seems to be due to running a custom aspect ratio from Nvidia control panel and for some reason I cannot change the output to 60.

2. Along the same lines as point 1, I have to use the custom aspect ratio/resize option in control panel and it seems to be doing some funky stuff. I have not been able to just create a custom scope resolution to run on the desktop, I have to resize the desktop with the custom aspect control in Nvidia Control panel. In doing this, I often have HDMI sync issues between the Lumagen and Emotiva processor which makes it a huge pain to try and get working. It will work, but it's not consistent.

To be honest I've had a lot of HDMI issues since introducing the Lumagen, so that's a whole can of worms in of itself, but wondering if anyone else out there has got a gaming setup on their scope screen and how you set that up?

I run a custom resolution of 4096 x 1707 x 60 hz without any issues on my scope screen. Try bypassing the lumagen and go HTPC to audio processor to projector. see if that works.

I use 2 runs to my projector: one which start source >>the MadVR HTPC >> audio processor >> projector for video processing and another which comes from HTPC >> audio processor >> projector for PC gaming.
You could due something similar.
