Someone should make proper calibration results for 2024 TVs like the QM7 running on newer firmwares like 231 or 237.
Been hoping and waiting for someone to post proper calibrated settings for the QM7G. All calibration settings on here are for the QM8.

I just poked around over there for about 3 minutes and...yikes. The folks in this thread are WAAAAAAY cooler. I'm staying here. FWIW, I have used @pbc's updated settings that he posted a few days ago, and they look pretty darn good on my 751G. I'm no @RipperAVS (nothing but love for ya!), but my eyes seem pretty happy with it. A @pbc level calibration specific to the 751G's would be great...I just don't know if anyone here has that equipment or capability here. I'm too afraid to ask the people in the other thread, haha.

Updated my qm851g to 237 a few hours ago. Here's my first impressions;

So far liking it better than I liked 231. @pbc Sdr calibration settings that he provided recently do translate well. Colour really pops. They tweaked the sharpness algorithm; 15 on 217 is closer to 20 now on 237. Even with turning up the sharpness slider to 20 it still seems ever so slightly softer overall. Like how denoising can lead to a softer image; to my eye it's like it's selectively denoising parts of the image even though I've turned all denoising settings off. It's subtle.

Motion is good. It doesn't seem to like the current amd drivers as turning on the high refresh rate toggle in the game menu seems to stop the tv from seeing an hdr signal, so have to leave that toggled off for the time being - highrefresh toggle is to go 144hz, up to 120hz is unnecessary. Oh, it won't say freesync premium unless you turn that toggle on either. Just vanilla "vrr on" otherwise. Ymmv.

I'm happy with 120hz so not a deal breaker. I was going to see if 144hz still causes the atmos pass-through to go silent, but got distracted by high refresh rate breaking hdr so will revisit. Still has a bit of moire. No problem with cec and my avr. Mostly so far so good. Will report further after additional observation.

Just updated to V237. In few notes worth noting…
My Vizio soundbar turns on way faster now. Before I would turn tv on, it would take 20 seconds to click on. Now it’s like 5 seconds.
-second note, motion with regards to ghosting has improved again. Coming from V231. V231 helped out quite a bit for me but was still there. V237 has improved on it some more. At least to me. I got a scene I compare to each firmware update, and there is barely any ghosting now on that particular scene

What's the scene you test?

Does this work with the Q77K

Does anyone care to share their DV color settings? As previously stated - no matter how much I adjust the 2pt I always see a shade of red or a shade of green..

Doesn't have to be calibrated necessarily just something for me to go off of for a while.. I appreciate it thank you!!

Hey do you know if v237 is compatible with the Q77K model?

Hey do you know if v237 is compatible with the Q77K model?
2025: X11K-QM9K-QM8K-QM7K-QM6K-QM67K + 2024: QM891G-QM851G-QM751G-98Q651G)

These are the supported model numbers. If the Q77K is a rebadging of one of these model numbers, it should work. However, the Q77K might be a different platform needing different firmware.

Oh, and I noticed there's now a frame interpolation setting in the game mode setting that wasn't there before. Didn't bother to try it out, but feel free to and let us know how much latency it introduces.
